We have been in the busiest season of our business and lives and we are TIRED. We have been running not only all over town and between towns, but all over the state! It’s hard work- its tough keeping up with everything and not letting our sweet clients down, and its easy to start feeling the pangs of a burn out coming. But man, it is a rich life, so full of blessings.
One of those (many, many) blessings is that we get to meet SO many fantastic people and we get to know these families and couples on a deeper level having them in front of our lens. Some clients come to a shoot nervous and timid (believe it or not Bethany felt a lot like that when we had our
engagement photos taken this summer), and others come WIDE open! Noah was the latter. Wide open, rambunctious, and FULL of life!
We met up with Katie and Noah at
Mary Baldwin College in Staunton- Katie’s alma mater- and followed the pair (okay, chased Noah actually) all over this picturesque campus. We had both visited the campus before (we’d even taken a few shots here with
Karyl + Garrett) but it was a completely new experience to have a guided tour from a proud alumni. We discovered so many cute little nooks and crannies as we wandered and honestly can’t wait to go back and keep exploring.
Katie and Noah, we really loved spending an afternoon with you guys and getting to know you a little better. Thanks for trusting us to capture your sweet family during this season. We know it’s an energetic one for sure! Check out a few of our favorites from your session.
cheers!
