Yesterday Aaron and I hit the 8-months-of-marriage mark. Those last 8 months have literally flown by! We celebrated with Crozet pizza and beer (Bold Rock cider for me)… okay so maybe it was just going out to dinner because we were hungry and it had been a long day, but we can pretend it was a celebration. 🙂 We do have a lot to celebrate. Marriage has been quite an adventure already, but that’s a story for another day.
A few weeks ago we got an email from the sweetest couple asking for our availability to photograph an anniversary session for them. These two are right around the corner from ONE YEAR! We knew just from our email conversations that this was going to be a special session.
We met Allison + Albert at their adorable old farmhouse to capture some portraits at their first home together (all their idea… and we loved it!) with their pups. They wanted images to share with their kiddos one day. So sweet. We arrived in a downpour, but the rain cleared and the sun peeped out and it was lovely. Once we were finished capturing their little family at home we headed out to a gorgeous farm where we wandered through fields of wildflowers and climbed to the top of a hill for the most beautiful mountain view. (Fun fact: the farm was literally two minutes down the road from our own wedding venue, Willow Spring Farm! So fun!)
