The Mills clan has now officially become our most-photographed family and we love them for it. We got to capture their whole family last fall but we were missing an important member– Beth’s husband Vikram was working long-term in China (!!!). Since their little family lives in California, we weren’t sure we’d get the chance to document the complete package but Beth surprised us at the beginning of the year with an email saying they were coming back to town this spring and wanted US to photograph the whole group again! (We like to tell people that they flew all the way from California just to have us photograph their family!)
We met them back out at Chuck and Linda’s beautiful property in Louisa County for an early morning session and the light was so soft and beautiful. The little girls started out shy and timid but by the end they were as wide open as can be, squealing with delight. Adorable!
We love how well they love each other from across the country and we were so grateful to be part of their special time together. Mills-Copland-Kirby family, we really do love you guys and we are so thankful for the way you welcome us, feed us, encourage us, and keep inviting us back!
