Have you ever had an unlimited amount of time to do something you love? No time restraints. No limitations. Nothing standing in the way. That was the gift we were given for Liz’s bridal session at
Swannanoa Palace a few weeks ago. We got a sneak peek at her elegant Maggie Sottero gown (BEAUTIFUL!!) and loved seeing her face light up every time she thought about the next time she’d get to wear it- to meet her groom at the altar. We wandered around the historic palace grounds taking advantage of every last drop of light.
We were so inspired and had so much fun that we decided to start a little project- just for our amusement and hopefully to help our brides remember that this is FUN and that being princess-for-the-day doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy themselves. #mallorybridesontherun was born. One of our favorite memories from our wedding day was when
Michael and Carina asked if we’d run toward them (massive dress and all) through an overgrown field. We had all of this pent up joy and excitement that we were FINALLY husband and wife and in that moment we got to let it all out. That portrait was on our Christmas cards- we loved it THAT much. Now it’s our chance to give our couples that gift- a moment to let go and remember the adventure they’re just beginning. We love that Liz was willing to take a little run in her gorgeous gown before she even got to wear it down the aisle. Keep an eye on
Instagram and
Facebook to see more installments of this fun project 🙂
Liz, we have loved getting to know both you and Carson over the past couple of months- THANK YOU for making our blog so beautiful not once, but
TWICE! We wish you all the best in the mountains of Tennessee! We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your beautiful session!
cheers!
