Staunton is home to Tony and Lydia, so shooting their engagement session downtown was perfect. It was a little chilly when we met them at sunrise, but Tony kept Lydia laughing all morning and we heard no complaints. We wandered around some of our favorite spots and found some new favorites. Staunton is the sweetest little town with so much to offer.
Tony and Lydia met scooping ice cream at the
Split Banana (a local Staunton shop that serves home-made gelato) so it was only appropriate that we visit the shop for a few shots. They even have a flavor named after Lydia! It’s Lydia’s Apple Pie with her own home-made apple pie IN the gelato! (We may have gotten a little taste- it’s amazing!!) We love taking a few moments to really get to know our couples. So we took a minute to warm up (defrost, really) for a cup of coffee and Tony taught us Spot It- one of our new favorite games 🙂 We know we’ve been paired up with the right couples when we can have the best time bonding over a cup of coffee and new game. Their wedding next year on Lydia’s parents farm is going to be the best! We can’t wait to celebrate!
Lydia + Tony, you two are adorable and we loved capturing you together. We hope you love these images as much as we do! Enjoy a few of our favorites from our morning together!
cheers!
