King Family Vineyard: Kelsey + Alex’s Engagement Session

When we got Kelsey and Alex’s inquiry about an engagement session near Charlottesville we didn’t realize just how much this opportunity would end up meaning to us or just how small the world really is. Kelsey and I started exchanging emails and I found out that these two wanted to celebrate their engagement with a session where they got engaged (King Family Vineyard) as they planned a New England wedding in Kelsey’s Connecticut hometown. I’ve only been to Connecticut once, but I knew it was a small state. I just didn’t know how small. Kelsey took a look at our blog and right away saw a familiar face. It turns out, Kelsey is from the same small town as my sweet friend (and college roommate and bridesmaid…) Emily. The bond with this amazing couple was instant (we couldn’t stop saying “I can’t believe what a small world it is!”) and we knew this was a special one!

We met Kelsey and Alex at the beautiful winery in Crozet and loved them immediately. These two are so sweet and their love radiates! They are one of those couples that makes conversation easy! We never ran out of things to talk about. From wedding planning to mutual friends, we instantly felt a connection to these two! We are thrilled to celebrate with them next fall at their beautiful New England wedding! New England holds a special place in our hearts- we honeymooned there, and have traveled to CT and MA in our short ONE year of marriage already 🙂 We can’t wait to go back! New England in the fall doesn’t disappoint!
