My sister, Sophie, and her fiance, Ross, were supposed to say their vows at an intimate wedding ceremony in the mountains this weekend. Unfortunately Covid-19 had other plans, so in honor of them I thought I’d blog (for the first time in months… ok, ok, YEARS) and share some favorites from their engagement session. We drove to North Carolina for a weekend exploring their little town and photographing them at a favorite hiking and picnicking spot and hanging out around the house. (I must mention that I was around 31 weeks pregnant at this point and WAY too big to be traipsing over the mountains and through the woods, but I did it and I’d do it again for these two.)
Instead of celebrating in person this weekend, Sophie and Ross planned a little ZOOM trivia game for the family to play and it was fun to be reminded of all the adventures that led the two of them to this point (we’re talking cross country trips and proposals in Wyoming!!). We’re ready for Ross to be an official part of the family (SOON!) but for now please enjoy how dang cute they are together!
cheers!
