Charlottesville, Virginia Engagement Session | Chris + Kelli

We met Chris and Kelli at Chris’s childhood home in Ivy last week for their beautiful spring engagement shoot. The redbuds and dogwoods were in full bloom, this place was one of the most gorgeous we’ve ever seen, and this couple could not be more ready to tie the knot! The perfect combination!

We got to meet Chris and Kelli for the first time right before I left for Alaska and it was like grabbing dinner with old friends. These two are so warm and friendly and they have welcomed us right into their lives. Chris is the keyboardist for the band The Congress and Kelli is an artist, jewelry maker, and all around sweetheart. It’s been fun to keep up with them as they travel with the band and settle into their new life in Richmond. We wandered around the property to our hearts content capturing this one-of-a-kind love and I think the portraits tell the perfect story of who these two are- kind, gentle, fun, and crazy about each other.

Chris + Kelli- we think you guys are awesome and can’t wait for your Mount Ida wedding (in barely more than a week!!). It’ll be here before we know it! We’re honored to be part of this season and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Enjoy some of our favorite shots from our time together!
