The Mallorys | A Fresh New Look | Personal

Around a year ago, Aaron and I announced that after much deliberation (and officially becoming one on our wedding day in September) we wanted to change our business name. Before we got married we operated our little business under “Aaron Mallory Photography” and we were content with that. Until we realized that one of the biggest things that made us who we are and helped us stand out from the crowd was the fact that we are a husband and wife team. You can read more about that announcement HERE. We had such a great response to the change and we’ve officially shot one full season as “The Mallorys” 🙂
What we failed to mention during that transition, was that we worked with an amazing calligrapher to create a new logo to go along with our new name. Amy of Sincerely Amy Designs worked tirelessly with us to create the perfect hand-lettered logo. I was actually embarrassed at a conference I attended shortly after we revealed our new name when another sweet creative complimented our new ‘logo’… in front of Amy. She’d seen our announcement and thought the graphic we’d put together for our blogpost was the official logo. Yikes! If you’ve visited our website lately or follow our blog at all, you’ve seen Amy’s beautiful work, but we wanted to make the unveiling official. She deserves that! Amy is a gem and has honestly been one of our greatest cheerleaders (which is amazing considering we’ve only met in person ONCE).
We also wanted to take a minute to show off the lovely Wedding Guide we put together for all of our couples. Planning a wedding is tough and confusing and most people don’t have a lot of experience. So we put together 36 pages of content to take some of the guesswork out of it. We have information on the ideal timeline, what details to gather, and how to make family formals quick and painless. We’ve loved sharing it with our couples and they’ve loved receiving it. It’s so fun to see it laying around the bridal suite on the morning of a wedding.
Have a great day, friends and BUNDLE UP!
cheers!
