Crozet, Virginia | Sarah + Michael Senior Session

Sarah and Michael’s Crozet, Virginia senior session has to be one of our favorites so far! Not only are they fun and full of personality… but there are TWO of them! TWINS! They have that special twin-ness about them, while being wildly different in their personalities and interests. We loved that we got to shoot in two totally distinct locations so that their images would feel like them and show off their unique selves. We met up at Mudhouse to start Michael’s industrial-styled part of the shoot and then moved to Beaver Creek Dam to finish up with the mountains and fields Sarah dreamed of.
Michael appreciates the authentic. He is becoming quite the coffee connoisseur so he and Aaron have lots to discuss. He loves culture and reading and the excitement is building for where he will spend his next four years.
Sarah is sweet and thoughtful and loves playing the violin. She is generous and friendly and smiles easily. She is narrowing down her colleges choices and is going to make waves wherever she chooses to attend.
They are kind and warm and at 17-years-old they are already the type of people you want to spend time with. Their dad, Essen, is the pastor of our church and he married us a little over a year ago. He holds a special place in our hearts and we think the world of their family. So I’d say they’ve inherited their sweet spirits honestly 🙂 We loved spending the evening with their family (we missed their older sister, Rachel, dearly- she’s living the big life in New York these days).
It was fun to shoot a mixture of digital and film for this session and we were thrilled when PhotoVision turned around our film extra fast and we were able to weave them all together for this post.
Daleys, thank you for trusting us to capture this season. It was an honor. Enjoy a few of our favorites (we can’t wait to hear which are yours)!  We hope you love them as much as we do!
cheers!
