Sometimes we don’t get to meet our couples until they’re literally in front of our cameras- Kristian and Matt were one of those couples. But the fun part about those scenarios is that by the time we say goodbye, we feel like old friends. That’s what hearing someone’s story and watching their love will do. Kristian and Matt drove down from Maryland for their engagement session at King Family Vineyards and it was fitting that their session included some travel since that’s exactly how their love story began. Traveling 30,000 feet up in the air, that is.
Kristian and Matt ended up on the same flight from Charlotte, NC to San Francisco, CA last spring and life hasn’t been the same since. When Kristian sat down for a red eye across the country, I’m sure she had no idea that she was sitting next to her future husband. That flight made quite the impression as the two of them laughed over the Lego Movie while the rest of the plane slept. They exchanged numbers and went their separate ways once they landed but they made plans to meet up in San Francisco and their whirlwind love story began.
These two are saying “I do” in Charlottesville this summer and we honestly can’t wait to celebrate with them. We love a good love story and theirs is one of the best.
