Amy + Timmy | Virginia Wedding Photographer | The Mallorys

Sunrise on top of the mountain is magnificent. Even when there is cloud cover, the light is soft and the mountains roll all around you. We met Timmy + Amy at Ravens Roost Overlook where they first agreed on forever. It was pretty special to photograph these two on the same rocks where Timmy got down on one knee and asked Amy to be his.

Timmy and Amy are the all-American couple. She teaches elementary school and he is a firefighter. Pretty perfect, huh? We’ve known Timmy for a few years and meeting Amy completes the picture. These two are sweet together and real with one another… and we like that combination! 

After we finished on the mountain, we headed down to a space very special to Timmy- the Wilson Volunteer Fire Co. (which just happened to have a gorgeous view). This is where Timmy began his firefighting career and it felt like coming home. The rain started falling while we wandered down the picturesque country lane, but these two weren’t phased. Being together was enough for them. 

Timmy + Amy, we loved starting a Sunday with you two and we cannot wait to be there as you start a lifetime together. We’re excited to share some of our favorites from our session together. Enjoy!
